Wrote this song with @blakewalkerband @bradsteele12 and @kevinpledger last summer near the end of a writing camp. This song has been special from the moment we finished writing it and I’m grateful that Blake has chosen to carry it through the production and release process. With the chaotic narratives and fear-mongering that correlates with every election cycle, I think this song holds a critical message that grounds us. Go check it out (link in bio)

I might need to make this spot an every-day sort of routine…

I was in a write with some friends in 2020 where, after we had made good head way into a song, we realized it was pretty close to something already written and we needed to pivot. Looking for another idea, I pulled a voice memo from my phone and the concept paired well with an idea that another writer had. The rest of that session + 1 follow up later and we were ready to introduce it to our church where it’s been a staple since. Thankful to @katelynbiehn, @kendalljamesmsc, @avaeli, @jennmmoreno for writing it with me.
