  • @taylorbryantisjustdust and @linoplaylists, thanks for adding In Every Wild to your playlists!

Making music is special and something I don’t ever want to take for granted. It’s truly an honor to work with others and share these special moments as we excavate and polish in writing rooms, studios, and live spaces.

P.S. I actually love planning center and their password resetting is one of the easiest with no need to do different passwords. I just needed a relatable service 😂
  • We wrote this song in July 2020, when the world was upside down. Tori and I were three months away from meeting our first baby, Indi, and just going to the grocery store felt like uncharted territory. I don’t remember exactly how we got to the heart of the song, but @amandaxcamille, @ryanofei and @cayla.worton (who I would STILL love to hear her do an arrangement of this) were each incredible at carving this song out and bringing hope back into the chaos and mystery we were all collectively experiencing.

Back then, the song helped me breathe. It gave words to what we were struggling to say—that even in all the unknowns, I wanted to trust that God was still present, still steady, still good. You could feel the breath of relief in the room every time we began singing it.

Now, almost five years later, it carries a different kind of comfort. It’s become a steady part of my worship life, a reminder of what we walked through—and who walked with us.
